Ford Bronco Expert Review
Team SayaraBay says
The Ford Bronco, a mid-size SUV, represents a rugged off-road legacy with a body-on-frame structure. Currently in the sixth generation from 2021, and Ford, instead of a full mid-life update, gave the SUV a mild makeover for the 2025 model, with some key changes that makes it not just looks desirable but also quite competitive in its segment.
Even with some new changes, the 2025 Bronco continues its rugged image with modern tech and keeps well-known off-road abilities. Over the years, the Bronco has established a significant presence in Saudi Arabia thanks to its strong and tough body language and robust engineering.
It competes against the Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Nissan Patrol; it’s an exhilarating SUV for adventure-seekers who also want a practical daily driver. Start at an attractive price, the Bronco is both an adventure and family SUV that has some great characteristics to give your life a much needed elevation.
Interior
Design & Quality
Inside, the Bronco is tough yet modern, with a 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster standard across trims. The 2025 refresh models get better sound insulation and rear-seat AC vents (four-door models). The materials range from cloth to marine-grade vinyl or leather in higher trims is not just premium but higher quality and durable, and easy to handle KSA’s heat and dust. The drain plugs make cleaning easy after muddy adventures, and the optional ambient lighting and a heated steering wheel provide a touch of luxury, perfect for long drives.
Front Seat
The driver’s seat is comfy and supportive, with 6/10-way manual adjustments. There are also heated seats to handle hot weather, while vinyl options resist sand and spills. The dashboard’s integrated rack for smartphones or GoPros is an awesome feel for adventure. The Bronco’s front seats appear like a rugged recliner, always ready for trails or traffic.
Electronic Parking Brake
An electronic parking brake with hill-start assist, tucked into the centre console, makes stopping on KSA’s hills or in city traffic a breeze. It pairs with Hill Descent Control for off-road confidence, a must for desert dunes.
Rear Seat
The four-door Bronco seats five with 917 mm of legroom, while the two-door seats four with a tighter 892 mm. The 60/40 split-fold rear seats (four-door) fold flat for extra cargo. Rear AC vents and USB-C ports keep passengers comfortable and connected, though the two-door’s rear is best for kids or gear. The Raptor’s vinyl seats are easy to clean after sandy trips.
AC Vents
The dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents takes care of cabin coolness, and it can be activated through voice commands.
Storage Options
The cabin storage includes a deep centre console, door pockets for 1-litre bottles, and a sizable glovebox for essentials.
Armrest
Front and rear centre armrests with cupholders add comfort and practicality. The front armrest doubles as a storage bin, while the rear one folds down for a relaxed vibe on long drives.
Charging Options
The Bronco comes with USB-C ports (front and rear), a 12V socket, and an optional wireless charging pad.
Boot Space
The four-door Bronco gets 1,007 litres of cargo space behind the rear seats, which is expandable to 2,197.6 litres with the seats folded down. The two-door model comes with between 634 litres and 1,480.8 litres of cargo capacity. Its side-hinged cargo door with a separate glass section ensures quick and easier loading, and the FITS accessory system helps secure gear for desert trips. This setup is ideal for carrying camping equipment or family stuff for weekend adventures

Exterior
The Bronco’s boxy, retro design is iconic, which makes it quickly recognisable on roads in Saudi Arabia. With a length of 4,801 mm (two-door) or 4,879 mm (four-door), and 1928 mm wide, and a height of 2,550 mm (two-door) or 2,950 mm (four-door) wheelbase, it appears compact and yet quite commanding. Its 294 mm ground clearance and suitable tires make it stand out on Saudi Arabia’s dunes.
In the 2025 refresh, it gets noticeably sharper with the grille, new highly recognisable LED lights, and Ford introduces the Stroppe Edition’s Calypso Coral livery.
Front
The Bronco’s front end is pure thrill, including the round LED headlights and a single-piece grille nod, which still reflects the 1966 original. Although we can make out that the 2025 update gets a bolder, angular front look. The LED fog lamps and auto high-beams improve the look and visibility on the roads in KSA’s dusty or foggy conditions, making it practical and stylish for any journey.
Side
From the side, the Bronco’s boxy shape and removable doors express rugged freedom. The Free Wheeling package provides the 70s-inspired multi-colour stripes, while the sports matte black hood decals. The various sizes of wheels give an appealing and tough look to the SUV. The side steps and fender tie-downs make loading easy. You can't fail but notice the design of the SUV gets you that that’s nostalgic yet ready for action vibe
Alloy Wheels
The Bronco is known for its style and strength. There are several sizes of alloy wheels, starting from 17-inch and going all the way to 25-inch. They are specially designed and produced for extreme off-roading, with great grip on sand, rock, or pavement.
Rear
The rear gets a side-hinged cargo door with a separate glass section for easier loading. The one-piece LED taillights are for a modern touch, while the retro graphics and the tow hooks highlight mighty capability. A full-size spare tire on the tailgate is ready for desert emergencies, and the 360-degree camera allows easy parking.
Colors
The Bronco offers nine colours, comprising Oxford White, Iconic Silver, Shadow Black, Area 51, Cactus Grey, Eruption Green, Hot Pepper Red, Velocity Blue, and Code Orange.

City Performance
On our city roads, the Bronco, despite its size and rugged built quality, appears to be quite agile. The 2.3L EcoBoost (300 hp) is peppy for daily driving, while the 2.7L V6 (330 hp) gives driving a kick. City driving is further eased by features like a 360-degree camera and Trail Turn Assist that make parking in tight spaces a lot easier. The 10-speed automatic (or 7-speed manual on 2.3L) is as smooth as one might expect, and the fuel economy is moderate for the size of such an SUV, but you won't complain.
Highway Performance
On highways, the Bronco cruises confidently, delivering great power for overtaking. The high torque makes towing feel like a breeze. Driving models like Eco and Sport allow personalised ride for efficiency or fun, and the quiet cabin with insulation for the 2025 model means relaxed drives.
Ride and Handling
The Bronco’s High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension system enables a smooth ride on KSA’s roads while taking on dunes with ease. The steering is accurate, but you may notice wind noise at highway speeds due to the boxy shape. The 294 mm ground clearance and robust tires handle desert driving quite easily.

Sayarabay Recommendation: For a regular SUV in Saudi buyers, the Big Bend 4-Door trim turns out to be the best choice, striking an excellent balance between functionality, power, and versatility. What you’ll love is its spacious cabin and seating capacity, making it well-suited for family outings and desert adventures common in KSA. The 2.3L turbocharged engine is highly responsive, nicely tuned with both the 7-speed manual or 10-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV has on offer a flexibility for daily comfort and capable off-road driving abilities on various terrains like dunes and rocky trails.
Verdict
It is nothing but quite clear that the 2025 Ford Bronco didn’t give up its legendary status as rugged and versatile SUV, and it has what it takes to live its reputation with both real-world performance and all-the comfort, convenience and tech that buyers want today. It's strong off-road DNA matched with practical comfort for daily driving.
The latest new design cues, the introduction of new trims, and the availability of Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free driving system, further elevates its appeal.
Whether you’re going to the dunes for a pleasure trip or wish to use it as your daily driver in the city, or maybe that long planned cross-country road trip, the Bronco won’t disappoint you. It promises adventure, style, and comfort that is what makes it a favourite with Saudi drivers. It's solid build quality, smooth driving on rough terrain, and the real personality of a true off-road SUV without sacrificing daily usability.
